Reference too § 12 battery regulation (if by the offer concerned batteries or Akkus are covered)
In connection with the selling of batteries or Akkus (in the following only batteries) or with the supply of devices, which contain batteries, we are obligated to refer final consumers in accordance with the battery regulation to the following:
Batteries may not be given to the domestic refuse. You are legally obligated to the return of used batteries as final consumers. You can return batteries free of charge after use in a local collecting point or in the trade locally.

Our cancelling obligation as Reseller is limited to batteries of the kind, which we lead or led in our assortment, as well as to the quantity, whose final consumer gets rid of usually.
Marking-requiring batteries, i.e. such the pollutants contained, are marked by one of the following symbols of a through-crossed garbage can, whereby both indications have the same meaning.
Marking-requiring batteries, i.e. such the pollutants in the proximity of the garbage where the symbol is, is the chemical designation of the appropriate pollutant. CD stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
